The Tabesa company clarified that it did not hire or pay the cargo plane that delivered its products to a client in Aruba, and that it is currently delayed in Argentina. From the Paraguayan firm they regretted that the malicious accusations arise again in the middle of the internal electoral campaign in the ANR.
The president of Tabesa, José Ortiz, clarified in an interview with the channel GEN – Nación Media that in no sense should this tobacco company be assigned any responsibility for a cargo plane that is being held in Argentina. This for a load of cigarettes that he had transferred a month ago to Aruba; that it was correctly controlled by local institutions and that it has supporting documentation.
He explained that in this case they have no responsibility with the cargo plane, because the final client of Aruba was the one who contracted – through an intermediary – the cargo transfer service. “We didn’t even make the payment for the transfer,” the businessman clarified.
“The only responsibility of Tabesa was to take the products to the Guaraní airport, because the freight was not in our charge. In addition to that, we always request that our shipments be verified by Senad so that there is no contamination, because we are afraid that there will be contamination during the journey, especially when it is river and sea, but it was done in the same way in this case and the Senad drew up a record that everything was in order, ”he deepened.
Ortiz argued that this situation would be an inconsequential event if we were not in an electoral stage, so once again the case is being maliciously used to attack Honor Colorado, led by Horacio Cartes.
