Sworn Subcommittee for Monitoring the Amnesty Law

This Wednesday, the members of the Subcommittee for Monitoring the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence were sworn in. This was reported through the social networks of the Antv channel.

The purpose of this initiative of the Venezuelan parliament is to support compliance with this legal instrument aimed at national reconciliation. It also aims to examine the processes related to the procedures established by the standard and coordinate with the bodies of the judicial system.

According to what was announced on Tuesday by the president of the Commission, Jorge Arreaza, the head of this subcommittee is deputy Nora Bracho.

Arreaza recalled that the work of the AN is to monitor and accompany the Venezuelan justice authorities, in charge of carrying out evaluations of the Law, once the amnestied person makes the request.
