The Airbus A220-300 plane, with 74 passengers and five crew on board, was flying from Bucharest to Zurich on December 23 when it had to make an emergency landing in Graz, Austria, after engine problems occurred and smoke was detected inside. of the cockpit and cockpit.
“We must report, with the deepest regret, that our young colleague passed away on Monday in the hospital in Graz,” Swiss said in a statement.
The airline’s CEO, Jens Fehlinger, expressed his condolences on behalf of the entire team.

An engine problem could have been the cause of the incident.

Ten of the 74 passengers traveling on the aircraft sought medical attention, and two crew members were hospitalized.
