The former Vice Minister of Transport, Fabiola Caballero, and workers publicly denounced that the Superintendence of Land Transportation of People, Cargo and Merchandise (Sutran) has become an employment agency for people close to the Government Palace.
According to Punto Final, when Caballero fulfilled her duties as deputy minister and in charge of Sutran, at the end of 2021, she was tremendously surprised by the dozens of resumes that arrived at her office.
“They approached me at my office bringing several resumes of the replacements for Sutran, there were dozens, of all the positions of trust so that with a shot, they could get all the people out”, he mentioned.

Likewise, the former official maintained that among the people who applied for jobs they had similar characteristics of origin or some link with the wife of the President Pedro CastilloLilia Paredes.
“This already looked like an employment agency. The characteristics were that they had to be from Cajamarca, Chotanos, friends of the Palace, but there were two aspects of the Palace through the general secretary or the wife of the president.”, he commented.
For not giving in to the pressure of so many requests with “influences”, Fabiola Caballero assured that she resigned.
