In addition to Castillo, the list is made up of Francisco Javier García, Charles Mariotti, Francisco Domínguez Brito, Ramón Ventura Camejo and Luis de León.

Abel reaffirms his aspiration

For his part, Abel Martínez assured that his presidential aspiration “remains intact.” In a post on his social networks titled “My presidential aspiration remains intact,” he stated that he prefers “the solitude of coherence rather than the applause of contradiction.”

The PLD leader maintained that his commitment to the party founded by Professor Juan Bosch and to the country is “unbreakable.” “I am not motivated by ambition, but by historical responsibility. I will not validate processes that betray our principles,” he expressed.
