The Morena elections commission was still defining the selection process of its candidate for the government of the state of Mexico last night and the survey was outlined; once a consensus was not reached among the applicants, that instance headed by Mario Delgado took on the task of making a determination.
The elections commission met at six o’clock and we are going to make a decision, because until now your server has not been informed of any consensus and I do not know how many are going to register for the call, it is free. Depending on the number, it is if we go two rounds, if we do a first survey and from there the best positioned would go to a second, depending on the number of registered.
At a press conference, accompanied by the members of the organizing committee of his National Assembly –scheduled for September 17 and 18–, he confirmed that in April 2023 the call for the registration of candidates for the presidential candidacy of his party will be opened. All will undergo an evaluation by the National Council of that party, which will decide who will be the candidates who meet the requirements, and these will participate in a first survey, and from there those who are better positioned, the semifinalists will participate in a second poll and from there the candidate will emerge

He also referred to the search of one of Alejandro Moreno’s properties in Campeche. “These are investigations being carried out by the local prosecutor’s office. There is a big difference with what was lived in the past, the prosecutors ceased to be political arms of the rulers in turn, today they are autonomous and there is no political motivation in their actions. I know that sometimes it is difficult to believe, because of the great reputation that it has wing Moreno could have committed a crime, but well, the prosecution will have to prove it.”
Delgado assured that there is permanent communication with the PT and the Verde and considered that it is not an interested alliance: We want to keep it. It has been a successful alliance and obviously we want to get to 2024 like this. I think it has been a strong alliance because it is not about interests, it is about convictions, it is that we share the same idea and project for the country. We are not like the alliance of those in front who are nostalgic for corruption
