Senator Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP) announced today (7), through his social networks, that the surgical procedure he had to undergo to treat severe pain in the abdomen region was “a success”. Alcolumbre was operated in São Paulo.
According to the publication, the former president of the Senate “is recovering well. He is already talking to family and medical staff, good-natured and deeply grateful for everyone’s outpouring of affection.”
Alcolumbre was president of the House between February 2019 and February 2022. He is currently chairman of the Senate Constitution and Justice Committee.
