Supports for babies reach 1.22%

However, the babies between 0 and 1 years old covered by this scholarship are just 120, among a total of 34,224 minors in the program, according to an analysis of the 2020 Beneficiary Register. This represents just 1.22% of the children from 0 to 12 months of age who were in Baby Insurance during 2017, when it reached its highest number of beneficiaries.
A breach of the law
The “Cuna CDMX” and “Bebé Seguro” laws establish in their transitory articles that a budget must be allocated to these programs and the resources may not be less than those allocated in the previous year.
