This Thursday, September 12, The takeover of the Air-e energy company took place,which provides service on the Colombian Caribbean coast, specifically in the departments of Atlantic, Magdalena and La Guajira.
The intervention was carried out in Barranquilla, under the leadership of Superintendent Dagoberto Quiroga Collazos, and through Resolution No. SSPD-20241000531665 September 11, 2024.
The Superservicios made it clear that despite the intervention, announced by the Ministry of Mines and Energy after the concept of the Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Gas (Creg), Air-e must guarantee the provision of the service until the complete transition to the entity is made.
“For the National Government, the most important thing is to guarantee the right of the inhabitants of the departments of Atlántico, La Guajira and Magdalena, where the company operates, to access this vital public service,” explained the Superservicios.
Quiroga Collazos, for his part, also expressed that users can have confidence that “Respond to the Caribbean’s cry for good service, without high rates”.
“The Superintendency gives citizens peace of mind, as it will ensure compliance with the constitutional principle of guaranteeing the provision of energy services“.
