Supercup on February 5 opens 2023 women's football season

The CBF defined the calendar of women’s football competitions for 2023, with breaks for the World Cup period – between July 20 and August 20 – and also on FIFA dates. The Brasileiro A1 (first division of the national championship) will start on February 26 and end on September 17. The state ones are expected to take place between September and December of next year.

Among the changes made by the CBF for the next season is the reduction from 24 to 20 participating teams in the Brazilian Sub-20. The purpose of the change, according to the entity, is to make the tournament more competitive. In the case of the Brasileiro Sub-17, there was an increase in the number of clubs, which went from 12 to 16.

Women’s Supercup – February 5th to 12th.

Brazilian Female A-1 – February 26th to September 17th

Brazilian Female Sub-20 – March 8th to June 21st

Brazilian Female A-2 – April 15th to July 8th

Brazilian Female A-3 – April 15th to June 24th

Brazilian Female Under-17 – November 4th to 25th
