During the installation of the II Expoferia Türkiye-Caracas 2024, it was announced that a sunflower oil refining and packaging plant will soon be installed in the state of La Guaira to supply the Venezuelan market and then import it to the Caribbean.
The information was released by the governor of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, who highlighted that it is part of an alliance with a Turkish company, which plans to produce and generate new sources of employment for our people. “We did it, President, in a month and a half we will be inaugurating this wonderful work.”
He also said that they estimate to produce one and a half million liters of oil per month. The President congratulated the Governor of La Guaira for this great achievement. “It is truly exciting to see how the relations are being articulated, of culture that we perhaps had turned our backs on for centuries, between Turkey and Venezuela there is a sincere love, Venezuela and Turkey are on the right side of history,” he said.
The II ExpoFeria Türkiye Venezuela 2024 represents a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations, by facilitating investment opportunities and boosting growth in key sectors for both markets.
