Taxpayers who have pending tax debts and do not have the necessary resources to cancel them immediately can be accepted, in any month of the year, to the benefit of the postponement and/or tax fractionation.
This mechanism offered by the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) It allows regularizing tax obligations progressively and without compromising the taxpayer’s liquidity.
Three available modalities
- As reported by Sunat, there are three modalities to access this benefit:
- Payout: It allows to postpone the payment of the debt for up to 6 months.
- Fractionation: Facilitates payment in up to 72 monthly installments, with a minimum quota of 5 % of the ITU.
- Caping with fractionation: combines both options, postponing payment for up to 6 months and then allowing payment in 66 monthly installments.
How to access the benefit?
The application is made through the virtual form No. 687, available on the Sunat web portal through the use of the Sun key.
Once the application is approved, the taxpayer will be able to make payments through various digital channels such as:
- Virtual Sunat with or without Sun Key
- APP Sunat Entrender
- APP Sunat People
- Pagalo.pe platform
- Habilitated payment methods:
Bank account charge (debit) - Detractions account
- Credit or Debit card payment
- Through the Sunat Payment Number (NPS)
Procedure to pay for Sunat Virtual
For those who choose to pay through virtual Sunat with sun code, the process is as follows:
- Enter www.sunat.gob.pe and access online operations (Sol).
- Log in with the RUC, user and key.
- Go to the option “My statements and payments”, then to “Presentation and Payment” / “Payment Ballots” / “Fractionation Payment”.
- Select the corresponding approval resolution.
- Verify the amount of the fee and click on “Pay now”.
- Choose the payment media and click on “Submit/pay”.
