Karol Villalta Chinchay, who was shot in the head by a criminal in a failed robbery of a grocery store, died on the night of Friday the 30th at the Support Hospital II-2 in the Sullana province.
She remained hospitalized because she was wounded by a gunshot to the head that one of the robbers fired at her inside her family’s establishment on Buenos Aires Avenue in the market, in front of the Juan Velasco Alvarado school.

The failed robbery happened on the afternoon of last Friday, the 30th, when two criminals arrived on a motorcycle and one of them entered the Villalta commercial and because they had resisted, the thug began to shoot and a shot hit Karol in the head. While his brother Jhors Brayand Villalta Espinoza (22) was wounded in the abdomen. Also, the motorcycle taxi driver Jesús Narciso Alcedo Zapata, 50 years old, received a bullet.
