The executive director of the Support Hospital II-2, Iván Calderón Castillo, together with his technical team, held a meeting with representatives of the National Infrastructure Authority (ANIN) and the OHLA hospital consortium, to coordinate the start of the transfer process of the new hospital located in the western sector, on the Sullana to Paita highway, in the .

During the meeting, topics were discussed such as Operations and Maintenance Manual, Updating Plans, Equipment, Software Systems, Guidelines and deadlines that will allow an efficient and orderly transition of the hospital’s operations.

The new and modern infrastructure has four levels and houses a total of 310 beds, distributed in 209 hospitalization beds, 37 emergency observation beds, 48 ​​intensive care beds, among other specialties, 5 operating rooms, 50 outpatient clinics, hemodialysis service , tomograph and 2 oxygen plants.

It is worth mentioning that annually, the II-2 Sullana Support Hospital on Santa Rosa Avenue, records an average discharge of 9,000 hospitalized patients, 15,000 emergency care, 3,000 deliveries, 5,000 surgical interventions and 160 general and ICU discharges. Neonatal.

“We started the project and now we see it successfully completed. We have a totally modern hospital, which will be able to offer high quality services. This new hospital is a reference in the area of ​​the Luciano Castillo Colonna Sub-Region, provinces of Talara, Paita, Sullana and Ayabaca, in addition to the districts of Tambogrande and Las Lomas, the Tumbes region and the Chulucanas hospital,” he stated.

Likewise, he pointed out that they have been working in an articulated manner with the institutions involved to guarantee the process. “We are working with our technical teams to move forward,” he indicated.
