Sucre: Pediatric vaccines will be available in all educational establishments

The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, pointed out that the vaccines against COVID-19 will be available for all educational establishments, so that parents have the opportunity to immunize their children against the virus and start the year school safely.

He recalled that the Ministry of Health (Minsa) maintains a school program which works on the application of other vaccines so that children have a complete scheme according to the country’s vaccination plan and the doses against COVID-19 have been added. 19; however, the father of the family has the possibility of sending in writing if he does not authorize the inoculation of his son.

Regarding the proposal to “flu” the pandemic, he said that it is a proposal that the public health team must evaluate, however, it is a serious decision and one of great responsibility.

For the moment, the proposal will not be presented to President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, since the experience of other countries that have decided to lift all measures must be observed, evaluated, and analyzed.

The minister also mentioned, in relation to the self-applied tests, which have already been approved to be used in private companies and the decree for their management will soon come out, those that are marketed must be of good quality and endorsed by the Institute Gorgas Memorial for Health Studies.
