Subsidies for the consumption of electricity and gas: there are more registered and they extended the term until 31

Yanotti: "Whoever does not sign up at this stage will lose their subsidy" to consumption

In recent days, an average of over 750,000 daily registrations was recorded.

The number of daily registrations in the energy and gas consumption subsidy forms has accelerated in recent days and is approaching an average of “750,000 daily registrations with peaks of almost 1 million,” according to officials from the Secretariat. of Energy of the Nation.

“The truth is that the number of daily registrations has been growing, in recent days we have registered an average of over 750,000 (registrations) per day with peaks of almost 1 million”, assured this morning the Secretary of Energy, Darío Martínezin dialogue with Urbana Play, who assured that, if the current pace continues, a “number close” to what the Government expects will be reached.

For his part, the Vice President of the Managing Company of the Wholesale Electricity Market (Cammesa), Santiago Yanottisaid this morning in statements to Radio 10 and the online radio station Futurock that as of today “just over 6,500,000 households” have completed the form, which represents “close to 50% of users.”

After completing the registration for those who have DNI ending in 6, 7, 8 and 9, the Government ordered that From today and until July 31, all the people who could not yet do it will be able to complete it virtually. with any document number.

The form is available on the page www.argentina.gob.ar/subsidiosor through the MiArgentina mobile application.

In the same way, both officials indicated that a period will be established to rectify or complete the data sent in the forms, after the end of the registration extension.

“After the registration period ends, in August, that rectification process will take place, but what we need first is for all the neighbors who believe they need the subsidy to register accordingly,” explained Martínez.

Meanwhile, Yanotti did not rule out that in the future sanctions will be applied to those who “lie or falsify” the data sent.

“In a first opportunity they will be given the opportunity to rectify and then when the crossing is made, (if they do not correspond) they will be rearranged,” he explained.

However, in the future he indicated that “there will be sanctions because lying in an affidavit cannot be encouraged.”

On the other hand, Martínez denied that those who request the subsidies will have restrictions on purchases of dollar savings and, regarding the monotributistasthey will have to enter “the average annual income divided by the months”, which, after crossing data, “will surely coincide with the range and category of registration in the monotax”.

Regarding subsidies for non-residential usersthe secretary indicated that “a decision has not yet been made.”

In the case of retireesthe recommendation of the Secretariat is that, if they cannot upload the data in the forms, they ask a relative or go to the Anses offices.

However, Yanotti assured that they are looking for “the way to effectively give the subsidy to retirees of the minimum regardless of the owner of the service.”

Likewise, the owner of Cammesa assured that, in the event that in the future there is a change in income, in properties or in the family group, the intention is that the modifications, beyond the notices of the users, carried out “automatically” through the crossing of data and, from there, the distributors are periodically informed.
