A subject was detained by police personnel after stabbing two firefighters volunteers who were going to fight a forest emergency in Codegua, O’Higgins region.
As detailed by Carabineros, the situation took place on Tuesday, February 14, in the commune of Paine, Metropolitan region, where the attacker intercepted, with a van, the car bomb in which the victims were traveling and then proceeded to attack them with a knife. .
After a series of proceedings, it was possible to identify the victim’s vehicle and thus find his whereabouts. In this way, a judicial order of arrest, entry and search and seizure of species was required, which was authorized by the judge on duty of the Guarantee Court of San Bernardo.
In this way, the apprehension of the man was achieved, who was later identified as Pedro Andrade Apablaz, 47, who was formalized for the crime of serious injuries with a knife. The subject was left with national roots, a ban on approaching the victims and a monthly signature.
Meanwhile, the affected firefighters are at the Las Condes Clinic and are being treated for the serious injuries caused as a result of the unjustified attack by Andrade Apablaz.
