Jesús Javier Zambrano Colmenares was arrested for allegedly being involved in extortion, sexual violence and illegal possession of firearms, according to military sources.
The subject was captured in the Los Vegones sector, Ayacucho municipality (San Juan de Colón), Táchira state, in response to a complaint filed with the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (cones).
At the time of the arrest, the military seized a 12-gauge Ruguer shotgun, a knife-type weapon, a cell phone, and a motorcycle.
During another Conas procedure, Robert Enrique Rodríguez Moreno, a member of the El Caracas gang, was arrested in Machiques de Perijá (Zulia). The man demanded a certain amount of dollars from a victim so as not to make an attempt on his life, according to the complaint.
