A man identified as Adrián Noel Figuera Rodríguez was arrested by members of the Immediate Response Brigade (BRI) of the Sector Secretariat for the Transformation of Citizen Security and Defense of the Nation last Thursday, for cutting the bases of the bridge on the old Caracas – La Guaira highway.

The information was released by the Secretary of Citizen Security of the state of La Guaira, Andrés Goncalves, through his Instagram account, where he detailed that members of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (Zodi) sighted the subject in the mountainous area.

After informing the Secretary of Citizen Security, an operation was deployed, managing to locate Figuera Rodríguez, from whom they seized a gas cylinder, an oxygen cylinder, ten beam cuts of approximately two meters, a oxy-cutting equipment, a red Spress brand motorcycle and a colored shoulder bag, in addition to two cell phones.

The procedure was notified to the Sixth Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry.
