The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations of Congress will see the complaint filed by the Nation’s prosecutor, Zoraida Ávalos, against the former supreme judge Cesar Hinostroza next Friday, March 18.
The measure was established after the delegate of the case, Congressman Wilson Soto-Palacios (Popular Action), will present its report on the determination of facts and relevance of evidence.
As is recalled, Ávalos Rivera denounced Hinostroza Pariachi for the alleged commission of the crimes of aggravated influence peddling, incompatible negotiation or improper use of the position and illegal sponsorship.
That same day -an hour later- the hearing of the constitutional complaint 188 (former 368) will be held because its coordinator, the congressman, did the same. Alexander Munante (Popular Renovation), when presenting its report on the determination of facts and relevance of evidence.
This is another accusation presented by the National Prosecutor, Zoraida Avalosagainst former congressman Hector Becerril for the commission of criminal offences.
Likewise, the subcommittee suspended the hearing regarding the constitutional complaint against former congressman Robert Vieiraat the request of the former parliamentarian because, due to a last-minute mishap, his lawyer did not accompany him in the virtual session.
Put to the vote, Vieira Portugal’s request reached 12 votes in favor and 2 abstentions, with which the hearing will be rescheduled on a date to be defined.
On the other hand, with 10 votes in favor and one abstention, the final report recommending filing constitutional complaint 176, formulated by former congresswoman Janet Sánchez against former parliamentarian, was approved. Maritza Garcia Jimenez for alleged infringement of article 38 of the Constitution and for the alleged crime of generic falsehood.
