The Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations (SAC) of Congress scheduled for this Friday, December 2 at 8:00 am watch constitutional complaints filed against President Pedro Castillo; the head of the PCM, Betsy Chavez; the former prime minister Anibal Torres; ministers; and former ministers of state.

Among the complaints is the one filed by congresswoman Adriana Tudela, from Avanza País, who denounced Aníbal Torres and the other State ministers who signed the act stating that Parliament had denied the question of confidence raised by the Executive to repeal the anti-referendum law.
For the legislator, Torres and the ministers have infringed articles 38, 39, 45, 90, 125 and 133 of the Constitution. Accordingly, the prosecution seeks “disqualification from public service for 10 years”.
Another programmed denunciation is the one promoted by Patricia Chirinos (Advance Country) against Pedro Castillo and Aníbal Torres for interpreting the question of trust as denied raised on the law that limits the referendum. Therefore, his disqualification for 10 years is also requested.
Juan Burgosalso from Avanza País, issued Another complaint against Castillo and Torres for alleged violation of articles 39, 117 and 118 of the Constitution; and the alleged commission of the crimes of disobedience to authority and ideological falsehood, articles 368 and 428 of the Penal Code.
The SAC also programmed to see the complaint made by the Integrity Civil Association, led by Jorge Lazarteagainst Pedro Castillo, Hannibal Torres and the other ministers for allegedly violating articles 90, 106, 108 (numerals 1 and 10) and 133 of the Political Constitution of Peru.
According to said organization, Aníbal Torres acted “unconstitutionally” when appearing before the Parliament chamber, last November 17, raising the question of trust.
SAC will assign a delegate for the prosecutor’s complaint against Pedro Castillo
The Subcommittee on Accusations of Congress also scheduled assign the delegate of the constitutional complaint presented by the prosecutor of the Nation, Patricia Benavidesagainst Pedro Castillo.
Previously, the Permanent Commission decided to grant 15 business days to the SAC to carry out the investigation and present the final report of the complaint against Castillo for the alleged crimes of criminal organization, influence peddling and aggravated collusion.
