In breast cancer, tumor cells evolve over time and, depending on certain mutations, can become resistant to the treatments used. For this reason, in many cases, the most aggressive diagnoses become immune to drugs.
A technique that could slow the progression of cancer allows to detect this mutation, and in the study they used a technique that has shown promise in recent years: the “liquid biopsy”.
