Before and after, technology was the protagonist. For two millimeter positions, the referee did not charge two goals to the local team. First at 14m., to Zapiola due to an offside by Godoy and then at 34m., a conversion by Díaz, which was annulled due to an overtaking by Méndez.
Estudiantes also hit the post with a left foot, courtesy of Zapiola; he had a header from Méndez that went wide and Diaz from Tucuman also wasted a chance from a favorable position.
