Last night a group of students began a peaceful takeover of the university modules. They explained what they are looking for enforce the challenge presented with the observations corresponding to the student elections held on October 7.
Jose Manuel Montaño, from the Soy Tecnología board, of the Faculty of Technology, indicated that they demand that the challenges raised be respected after observing some irregularities in the voting stations, such as 105 of Civil Engineering.

The young man assured that he has the corresponding record, in addition to the challenge that was presented.
“We want it to be listen and resolve our disputen, we have exhausted all avenues for dialogue, but they do not want to proceed with our challenge. We want the vote to be repeated at that table,” Montaño remarked.
For his part, the president of the Electoral Court, Adolfo Guerrero, explained that The annulment appeals presented have already been resolved by the fronts approving the motion to reject 99% of the appeals presented by the fronts.
Guerrero pointed out that the only appeal approved was that of the Internal Center of the Economics major where there was a tie between two fronts; At this point, the vote must be repeated on a date established by the Electoral Court.
Meanwhile, another group of students, who had won the October 7 elections, also took over the campus.
Alex Torrico, ICU delegate of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Technologies, assured that the campus was taken because the only thing that It seeks to ensure that the vote is respected. “They are wasting time, the Uagrm does not have resources, we are the winners, we want to manage,” he said.
According to the electoral calendar, the possession of the winners was to take place this Friday the 18th; However, due to the request that the Court received from the Uagrm mobilization committee, in the sense that this Friday the university march was scheduled with blockades in the provinces, demanding a larger budget; During the course of the day, the full chamber of members will decide on the date and/or time for the inauguration of the new leaders and delegates.
In the elections the new ones were defined 76 ICU delegates and 76 alternates, in addition to 18 faculties with their advisors, 64 career councils, 64 internal centers, the Executive Committee of the Local University Federation and the Executive Committee of the teaching assistants.
