Four students from Santa Isabel School will represent Peru at the ‘International Colloquium of Latin American Students’ under the theme of Latin American independence, which will take place in the country of Bolivia. For this reason, they requested support from the Regional Government of Junín for their travel expenses.

At the national level, three educational institutions will participate in this event, two from the city of Lima and one from the Junín region. The students of the emblematic Santa Isabel, stood out in a colloquium at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, due to this.
Third and fourth year high school students prepared themselves by researching the history of Peru and Latin America, including the Battle of Junín, heroes and heroines, and they must also conclude whether freedom is fiction or reality.

The director, Luis Huamán, together with the students arrived at the Regional Government of Junín, for an appointment scheduled with the authorities, however, an hour later they were not attended to nor allowed to enter, in response to which the director said that the officials should communicate the reason for the delay, especially since there are students, and he also asked for support from the regional governor, Zósimo Cárdenas.
He also announced that a group of former students are carrying out an activity to raise funds, since it is around 2,500 soles per person and between teachers and students who will attend, it is a total of 30 thousand soles.
