He stated that the students were working in the classroom, in small groups, around 4:58 p.m. a strange noise was heard inside the classroom. “I was in the corridor, two rooms from where the event occurred, when I got up, the first version is that the cell phone exploded in the face of a student,” she commented for 730 AM, she asked not to be identified during the note.
He then headed to the classroom where he was given a second version of the incident, this time involving an electrical shock. With the help of her aggressor student, they pick her up and take her to her vehicle to transfer her to the city’s Health Center. The minor arrived lucid and with good vital signs at the Health Center. There the director calls the mother of the student and informs her that she apparently blew up her cell phone in her daughter’s face. The mother was in Asunción at the time, so the uncles first arrive at the health center. She was assisted by personnel in white and they said that she was lucid, but that she should be transferred to the Acosta Ñú Pediatric Hospital.
When the director returns to the school, she already finds herself with police officers. Upon entering the incident classroom, she finds the minor’s backpack on the table and the firearm inside. Therefore, she decides to call her mother again to clarify that it was actually a gunshot.
After this, the student who was in that group of five to six classmates, gave details of what happened. The students were talking when the aggressor student picks up his backpack that was on the ground and puts it on his thigh. At that moment, he introduces his hand as if to take something out and a loud explosion is already heard.
“They are friends, they have an affinity for each other. As a group they are very close. They present their work in the best possible way. In the sports competition they won the first place in presentation and also the queen and king are the two boys in question”, he stated.
Finally, they called the minor’s mother who, with the help of the student’s aunt, went out to look for him. Upon finding him, the three go to the city police station, later the director accompanies them.
“We activated the protocol, guiding the two families with legal advice, everything that the Ministry of Education and Science establishes,” he said.
