Strong explosion reported in Marianao

OnCubaNews

A strong explosion was reported in the Marianao municipality of Havana.

The journalist Lázaro Manuel Alonso made a live broadcast, in which he confirmed that there was no human damage, death or injury.

Only, he said, there was damage to some buildings near the place of the explosion – still without specifying the exact place – including a school where there were no students, because it was Saturday.

Alonso pointed out that yamila madridThe mayor of the municipality confirmed that the original cause of the explosion was a fire that started “in the undergrowth.”

The place, said the journalist, is on the border between Marianao and Playa, which explains why the noise was felt in different areas of the city.
