Strong explosion in the San Sebastian prison; injuries are reported

In the San Sebastián prison (men’s sector) there was a fire with several prisoners who were injured. According to relatives, a bottle exploded. There is a strong police guard; firefighters and ambulances arrived at the prison compound.

A firefighter confirms that the fire was controlled and several injured were evacuated to different medical centers with burns first and second grade.

“It was a gas leak that caused everything. There is no damage to the structure, but there are black walls, there is no risk of greater danger,” they assured from the Fire Department.
