An agreement between the company OrdensYa and the independent courier service operators (distributors) put an end to the strike, which the motorists maintained, immediately reactivating the delivery service.
The company reported that after great efforts, both parties reached a viable agreement. This agreement responds to the priority requests of the workers for a better performance of their economic activity. The company clarified that the change in the salary scheme of the distributors is not related at all to the shipping cost that users pay when placing an order.
The company OrdersYa regretted that in Panama City in particular, the situation has affected its business partners and users, who prefer to use the app on a daily basis, as well as delivery people.
The company will continue to focus its efforts to impact the community in a positive way, keeping the promise of offering a service accessible to all.
