Through his account on the communication platform, Telegram, the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported that yesterday he held an encounter with institutions, social and political movements committed to the promotion of solidarity towards Venezuela and the dissemination of doctrine of the Bolivarian Paz diplomacy implemented by the president of the Bolivarian Nation, Nicolás Maduro.
“We have held a meeting with institutions, social and political movements that promote solidarity with Venezuela and disseminate the doctrine of Bolivarian peace of peace, with the purpose of reviewing joint projects that focus on the defense of our national sovereignty and in consolidation of popular power, ”he said the message posted.
At the meeting, the Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of joint projects that have been developing to guarantee the defense of sovereignty.
“Today we have managed to break the siege that tried to impose the local right and its allies,” he said, while highlighting the efforts made to strengthen international support against external aggressions.
He said how international solidarity is a key factor to face the challenges presented by these sectors. He indicated that the event served as a space to reinforce the interaction between social and political actors, with the aim of consolidating strategies that strengthen national sovereignty and promote cohesion within the country.
Chancellor Yván Gil explained that the meeting is contextualized within the continuous efforts of the national government to promote popular power and consolidate international alliances that support Venezuela’s position on the global stage.
Venezuela has always received solidarity and support from social and political movements of the world. Proof of this, recently, are the Social Movement of ALBA, which agreed as a whole to expand support for the peoples of Venezuela, Cuba and Haiti.
