The XII edition of the Day of Theater Street guide fills the main arteries of the city of killingswith its traditional festive atmosphere.
The celebrations in the territory began with a colorful inaugural parade from the vicinity of the Sauto Theatera national monument, to the central Parque de la Libertad, in which clowns, musicians and different artistic manifestations took part, according to reports Prensa Latina (PL) agency.

According to the program released by the organizers, the event includes workshops, theoretical meetings and theatrical presentations in different parts of the city.
Like its previous editions, the event aims to bring the art of the stage to the communities with the support of various institutions in the territory: the Office of the City Curator, the Pharmaceutical Museum and the House of Stage Memory, among others. It will also host presentations of works and photographic inaugurations as complementary activities.
Renowned groups such as D’Morón Teatro will participate in this theater festival with its clay characters, El Andante and Tuyo. You can also appreciate the traditional living sculptures and circus works, among other attractions, for the enjoyment of the people of Matanzas.
Other of the most anticipated activities of the Day will be the concerts of the singer-songwriters Liuba María Hevia and Frank Delgado, this Wednesday and Saturday the 15th, respectively, in addition to theatrical performances in various schools in the territory, the media highlights.
The XII edition of the Matanzas Street Theater Day will be dedicated to celebrating the 30 years of El Mirón Cubano in the streets, the 330th anniversary of the city of Matanzas, and to honoring personalities and groups with an outstanding career in this type of theater .
