Commissions of the Central Homicide Investigation Coordination of the Cicpc arrested Junior José Colmenares Escalona (49), nicknamed El Chigüire, involved in the murder of Giovanni Francisco Chataing Longa (29), which occurred on Panteón Avenue in Caracas.
The Cicpc report indicates that the events occurred on February 7 on Avenida Panteón, Barrio Terraplén, Puente Las Brisas, Caracas, where El Chigüire savagely hit Giovanni with a bat, who was burning solid waste.
After the beating, El Chigüire took the badly injured man to the lower part of the sector, with the aim of hiding him: however, he was discovered by passers-by, fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to a health center, where he died due to his injuries, says the scientific police report.
