The first accident occurred in the La Cumbre sector, in the section between the native communities Pampa Michi and Santa Ana, province of Chanchamayo, where a tanker trailer loaded with fuel, heading from Lima to Pichanaqui, collided with a car traveling towards La Merced. According to the National Police, the event left no injuries, only material damage was recorded.

The second accident occurred around 10:00 am, at the entrance to kilometer 51 of the highway, near the area known as La Garganta del Diablo, in Tingo María, Huánuco region. A cargo truck and a car collided violently, allegedly due to the wet road and poor maneuvering. The impact left several people with serious injuries, being taken to health centers by emergency personnel.
The third incident occurred on the highway near the Afilador spa, Tingo María, where a Hermes company truck, in charge of transporting money, ended up off the road after a sudden maneuver. The accident caused the partial closure of traffic and the immediate intervention of the National Police, which protected the area because the vehicle was transporting a significant sum of money intended for banks and businesses in Tingo María.
The authorities reiterated the call to drivers to drive carefully, respect speed limits and take extreme precautions, especially during the rainy season, when roads present high-risk conditions.
