“Steven Spielberg and Cate Blanchett, the stars of the Golden Globes 2023”

MADRID, Spain.- The film director Steven Spielberg and the Australian actress Cate Blanchett were among the big winners of the 80th edition of the Golden Globes, delivered this Tuesday at the Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

The Oscar-winning American director won the Golden Globe for Best Director for The Fabelmans. While Blanchett won Best Actress in a Drama for her performance in TÁR.

In this category was among the top favorites the Cuban Ana de Armas who, although she did not manage to take the statuette, was one of the protagonists of the night.

De Armas took the stage at two moments of the evening. The first to deliver the Golden Globe to Colin Farrell, awarded Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, for Banshees of Inisherin. The second to deliver the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy, received by Michelle Yeoh.

Renowned actor Colin Farrell, upon receiving the award, praised Ana de Armas for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in Blondefilm for which she was nominated.

“Ana, I found your performance impressive”, Told him Farrell.
