Agencies.- Stephen Currysuperstar of the NBA and one of the leaders of the United States team for Paris-2024, expressed his support on Thursday for Vice President Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s successor in the November presidential election.

Curry was asked about Harris’ candidacy, with whom he has a strong friendship, during a press conference held in Paris on the eve of the opening of the Olympic Games.

“This is a very exciting time for our country,” said the Golden State Warriors point guard from San Francisco, California, the area where Harris was born and forged his career.

“President Biden has endorsed her and Vice President Harris is trying to bring her energy to this campaign and hopefully she will be on the ticket to win the election,” he said.

“Knowing how divided our country is right now, I am excited about the journey ahead for her.”
