Students participating in the 2025 Step Program born in November and December receive on Monday (4) the payment of the fifth installment of the program.Step Foot: Born in November and December receive 5th installment

The amount of R $ 200 corresponds to the incentive-frequency to classes and is intended for public school students who are enrolled in regular high school or in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) modality.

According to the Ministry of Education (MEC), to be entitled to the benefit, they must have a minimum presence of 80% in classes.

Staggered payment

Payments are made according to the month of birth of students who are enrolled in one of the three grades of high school in the public school system.

– Born in January and February received on July 28;

– Born in March and April received on July 29;

– Born in May and June received on July 30;

– Born in July and August, received on July 31;

– Born in September and October received August 1st;

– Born in November and December, on August 4.

About 3.3 million students from public schools will receive the benefit.

Deposits

The fifth portion of the 2025 “high school savings” is being deposited in a public bank savings account, automatically opened on behalf of the students.

The value can be moved or pulled immediately if the participant wishes. Just access the application Cashier hasif the student is 18 or older.

In the case of children under 18, it will be necessary for the legal guardian to authorize the movement of the account in the bank. The consent may be given in the application itself or, if you prefer, in a Caixa agency.

The participant can consult in the application Student Journeyfrom the MEC, the status of payment (rejected or approved), the school information and rules of the program.

Payment information can also be obtained from the applications Cashier has or Social benefits.

The federal government program is aimed at low -income high school students from the public network enrolled in the Federal Government’s Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico). The MEC clarifies that there is no need for registration for inclusion. Every student who fits the program criteria is automatically entered.
