This Wednesday, in a meeting held at the rehabilitation center in Asunción, the families that attend Teletón, influencers and volunteer communicators, collaborators and directors of the foundation, shared a lunch to say goodbye to the year and celebrate the great institutional achievements.
2022 is a year with great institutional achievements, since despite two very hard years that the foundation went through, more than 196,000 free services were provided to more than 1,460 families throughout the country, 876 technical aids and equipment were delivered; more than 80 girls, boys and their families received assistance within the framework of the Intensive Interior program, as well as the arrival at the goal after two years and the return of the families of Paraguarí to the authorized centers of Teletón. There was also the promulgation of the National Accessibility Day that is commemorated every June 30.
“Today is a day to celebrate the great achievements we had this year, none of this would be possible without the support of companies, the media, volunteers, influencers and the general public, which is why we want you to continue supporting us to meet thousands of of more dreams, with all our hearts we want to thank you for continuing to trust us”, said Victor Ibarrola, executive director of Teletón.
to the sound of “Everything will be better”, the singer Jaime Zacher gave a serenade and brought several smiles to the families and those present, during the meeting communicators such as Nati Sosa Jovellanos, Leo Rivas, Emmanuel Cardozo, Alexis Aveiro and Violeta González were present, who highlighted the effort and commitment made by the foundation throughout the year to continue providing care to families who attend daily the three authorized Teletón centers in Asunción, Coronel Oviedo and Minga Guazú.
This year the Teletón Foundation, thanks to the citizen contribution, companies with social responsibility and the various activities, managed to raise the amount of G. 11,522,813,621 that will serve to continue supporting free care for hundreds of families who attend from different parts of the country in the three authorized Teletón centers in Asunción, Coronel Oviedo and Minga Guazú.
