Starts mega-project of refrigerated cargo terminal

The works of Puerto Antioquia, a Colombian megaproject that includes the largest refrigerated cargo terminal in the country, located in the Caribbean, they began this Saturday, with an investment of 720 million dollars.

“This is a port for the benefit of Colombia, to gain competitiveness, to shorten distances,” Duque assured, at the beginning of the construction of Puerto Antioquia, which will have 1,330 meters of dock and will be able to serve five ships simultaneously, according to the Presidency.

This new cargo port, due to its Caribbean location, close to Panama, will produce “significant savings for the country’s logistics chain”, since you are 350 kilometers closer to the main production and consumption centers than other Caribbean ports.
