The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD) reported that, as of Monday, August 1, a banknote of RD$200.00 Dominican pesos, series 2021.
This bill, whose manufacture was ordered through an international public tender in January 2021, contains the same security features as the RD$200.00 Dominican pesos bills currently in circulation, which will remain valid for the payment of all public and private obligations.

The incorporation of the security thread contemplates “change from pink to green when tilting the note, being combinable with the isotype of the institutional visual identity. In addition, it contains the value of the denomination in digits and is shaped like a window,” indicates the BCRD.
It should be noted that in the new issue the identification number of the ticket is in a horizontal position, on the upper left side, which is the same as the vertical numbering located on the right side.
