A new mystery box challenge took place in the most famous kitchen in Colombia, where contestants sought victory to gain an advantage in this cycle of competition.
The base ingredient was the corn flour with which they had to prepare arepas, but not the traditional ones. The juries invite the celebrities to take risks and experiment with new ingredients.

For this challenge, the contestants would work individually with a time of 60 minutes and although there was no immunity pin or black apronsthe truth is that whoever won would have a advantage in the following challenges.
The 12 celebrities gave their best with dishes that ranged from beets to sweets, but only the most interesting dishes could go on to be tasted by the juries.
The first to pass was Carlos Báez, who was applauded for his dish for having risked preparing a sweet arepa with peanut butter.
Estiwar G also surprised, who approached the jurors with a particular walk and a beautiful plate of arepa with sausage, garnished with cherry tomatoes and coriander. Although the taste pleased the chefs, the presentation of the dish did not please.
For his part, Tatán Mejía surprised the chefs and his colleagues by presenting a square arepa with a chorizo foam. The preparation delighted the judges, who praised its “intelligent flavors”.

The last to pass was Aida Bossawhich presented a vegetarian version of the egg arepa, which the judges also liked.
Tatan’s plate led him to victory and to have the advantage in the next challenges. “The nice thing about putting on the high bar is that only you can overcome it,” assured Tatán Mejía after his victory.
In the midst of the excitement over the victory of the former athlete, Chicho joked with a kiss from everyone to everyone. At that moment, Tatán runs to Aída Morales’ stall and kisses her lips, causing laughter among his companions.
