Brazilian Alexandre Galgani won this Friday (31) the bronze medal in the Al Ain (United Arab Emirates) stage of the Shooting World Cup. The achievement came in the R5 Air Rifle test – 10 meters – prone position for the SH2 class (shooters who need support for the weapon).
The São Paulo native secured bronze in the competition held in the United Arab Emirates with 234.0 points, behind Britain’s Ryan Cockbill (gold with 255.3 points) and Thailand’s Anuson Chaichamnan (silver with 255.2).
Also this Friday, Alexandro Basso from Rio Grande do Sul came in fourth place in the paratrap (skeet shooting) competition. The day before, the athlete had won his place in the finals after obtaining first place in the qualifiers.
