Spokeswoman Vallejo responds to criticism from Jadue for the viability of the government program: "I invite you not to subtract and not take a box"

After the statements made in Venezuela by the mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, the government spokeswoman, Camila Vallejo – consulted in this regard – invited him “not to subtract and not take a seat” in the work of the official conglomerate.

And it is that the communal chief during his visit to said country, pointed out that the expectations are placed on the fulfillment of the government program and “since the program today has no political viability, we have to wait for the Constitution.”

For this reason, Jadue commented that “it seems difficult to be able to fully implement” the Approve Dignidad program and that “the coalition that won has had to be expanded, incorporating other actors to give the government more political support.”

In this area, Camila Vallejo, also a member of the PC and government spokesperson, stated: “We collectively build a government program and collectively we have to push it. The viability of the program of changes that we have offered to the country depends, mainly, on the collective and collaborative work of everyone”.

This is why he invited Jadue not to subtract from the work that they have carried out as a coalition.

Vallejo explained that this task is not only in the hands “of our team, that we have a great cabinet team, but also of the parliamentarians, of the citizenry and, of course, also of the mayors.”

Along these lines, he stressed that “welcome and welcome to the mayors who want to collaborate to precisely make this program of changes viable, we need all of them,” he said.

“My response is extremely clear to the mayor’s statements, to make the program viable we need everyone, it does not depend exclusively on the government and in that the mayors can play a very important role. Do not subtract and do not take a box ”, he raised.

In this regard, the minister Izkia Siches also assured that “we live in a free country, each of the citizens can give their opinion, but obviously as a government team as ministers and ministers and it is also our invitation that we extend widely to the different political actors, parliamentarians and mayors, to contribute to advancing in the structural transformations that President Boric has proposed and for which the citizens have widely supported the last elections,” he said.
