SANTO DOMINGO.– To the least nine students turned out injured this Wednesday morning after a spectacular traffic accident that occurred in the kilometer 26 of the Santo Domingo-Yamasá highway.
According to the information preliminariesa school bus that was transporting students at the time of impact was involved in the incident.
Images broadcast from the place they show broken glass scattered on the road and visible damage to the front of the vehicle.
After the accident, several students remained around the bus, while emergency units rushed to the scene to provide assistance.
The National Emergency System 9-1-1 reported that it activated the immediate response protocol and offered care to the injured students.
So far, no details have been provided about the severity of the injuries or the circumstances that led to the accident.
