Special Mission will reunite Emtrasur crew members with their families

Emtrasur plane case in Argentina: kidnapping or justified action?

The National Government activated a special mission to reunite the Emtrasur crew members with their families.

According to a Conviasa press release, the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation scheduled a Conviasa charter flight to transport 27 people, all relatives of the crew of the Emtrasur plane.

The aircraft took off at 01:00 this Thursday morning from the Maiquetía “Simón Bolívar” International Airport and will arrive at the Viru Viru International Airport, in Bolivia, from where they will connect to Buenos Aires.

José Ramírez Valdivieso, the son of Victoria Valdivieso, the only female cabin crew member on the Emtrasur aircraft, thanked the logistical and operational deployment that made this operation possible, and also expressed “I feel very well, I haven’t seen her for a long time, she misses me Since I miss her, let’s spend some quality time together. The first thing I’ll do when I see her is hug her and tell her that I miss her so much.”

For her part, Isabel Cabello, who is traveling with her son and is the wife of the Aeronautical Maintenance Technician, José García, expressed her joy just hours after reuniting with her family.

“We are extremely excited, grateful for the support of Emtrasur, Conviasa and all the people who have been involved in this process and have made it possible. What we hope with this is to bring us our relatives, to bring us our plane », he said.

The Argentine judiciary made baseless accusations against the crew members, classifying them as terrorists. However, the Venezuelan State has shown that they are workers of an airline that, in addition to offering cargo transport services, is used to carry out humanitarian operations.
