Madrid Spain.- The Spanish influencer Rosa Martorell, recently visiting Cuba, denounced through her social networks the crisis food suffered by the Cuban population. In a video shared live from Trinidad, which he titled “Living Cuba’s socialism in person. Socialism=misery”, the European tourist showed a queue of Cubans waiting for the milk truck that the Government sells in a rationed way through the supply card.
Through your account InstagramMartorell, identified as @Iamrousmary, recorded the moment in which the milk was transferred from the tanker truck to some plastic tanks with a very dirty hose.
The video shows how the hose falls into the milk.
Rosa Martorell tells the state worker in charge of receiving the milk that the process was not hygienic. The worker, who also tried to prevent the recording, limited herself to responding: “then it is boiled.”
“This is the reality of a communist country like Cuba, repression, water shortages, milk shortages, which arrive at 1 in the morning and arrive dirty,” Martorell said.
The Cubans in line had been waiting for the milk truck since 9:00 the morning of the previous day.
Crisis with milk in Cuba
Last February, the journalist from CubaNetFernando Donate Ochoa, knew the story of Splendora Cuban who, like so many others, queued from 4:00 in the morning to buy milk.
In the case of Fausto, he needed it for his 5-year-old granddaughter who suffers from gastritis. After hours of queuing, because the milkman hadn’t been in for 3 days, Fausto was able to buy.
The milkman arrived with five 20-liter plastic bottles, an insufficient quantity for the more than 50 people who were waiting.
Earlier this year, Cuban authorities reported that the delivery of powdered milk for patients on medical diets in Cuba would be affected.
The crisis in the country with this product, which is now in one of its worst moments, fundamentally affects children and adults with chronic diseases.
