This is the first meeting in Spain of an institutional nature aimed at informing how the new European regulations against deforestation will affect when verifying exports.

Gustavo Idígoras, president of the Chamber of the Oil Industry of the Argentine Republic (CIARA) and the Cereal Export Center (CEC) presented the details of the Sector Vision of the Argentine Gran Chaco (ViSEC) He explained: “The goal is that, by 2025, all soy products exported by ship are verified by this platform, so that 100% of the soy that leaves Argentina is risk-free.” of deforestation”, and the possibility that a validation system exists within the European Union.
