The secretariat also made available to the artists the Distance Training Program for Cultural Workshopswith spots already available and scheduled to start on May 3.
“It’s more than R$ 270 million, practically doubling the amount we had at the beginning of the government, precisely so that, at this time of resumption, we can also resume with full force the cultural activities of our state”, highlighted Governor Rodrigo Garcia.
In this edition, the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy also signed a partnership with the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae) to help those interested in signing up for ProAc Public Notices/ICMS, to structure and format their projects.
“Culture is one of São Paulo’s main assets, generating 3.9% of GDP [Produto Interno Bruto] state and 1.5 million direct jobs. It has a high impact on generating inclusion and development and a vast growth potential. That is why the government of São Paulo has the largest set of programs to promote culture in Brazil”, said the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy of the State, Sérgio Sá Leitão.
