SP City Hall presents priority actions to start management

The mayor of the capital of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes, held the first secretariat meeting this Thursday morning (2). In addition to the municipal secretaries, the vice-mayor, Colonel Mello Araújo, representatives of the Municipal Attorney General’s Office, the Municipal Comptroller General’s Office and companies and local authorities were present. On the first business day of the year, the city hall presented the 100 Day Agenda, a document that outlines the priority actions planned for the first months of the government. “Today we held our first secretariat meeting here with a huge team and we begin this mandate by passing on the main guidelines. Delivery of works, start of works and the most important actions of the city hall in these first 100 days”, said the mayor to the press, after the meeting.

Nunes assesses that it was a good and productive meeting. “It’s a cohesive team, very passionate about the city, with a lot of focus on the peripheral regions of São Paulo and with many deliveries,” he said. He added that, at the time, the issue of a rain plan was discussed.

“We know that, with these climate changes, it is necessary to have a very well-adjusted team for urgent and emergency care in matters of rain, flooding, floods, to provide a quick response from the city hall, as we have been doing”, scored.

100 day agenda

In the health area, the Nunes administration intends to begin, within these first 100 days, works on five emergency care units (UPAs) in the neighborhoods of Cidade Tiradentes, São Mateus, Itaquera, Laranjeiras and Barra Funda. Another 12 basic health units (UBSs), in various parts of the city, will begin construction. Two rehabilitation centers – in Carrão and Casa Verde – also have construction planned.

Nunes also foresees, during this period, the completion of works at UPAs Sacomã, Lapa and Augusto Gomes de Matos; at UBSs Real Parque 2, Reserva Raposo and Arriete; in addition to the Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS) Adult 2 Aricanduva.

In education, priority actions include the beginning of works in six unified educational centers (CEUs) in the neighborhoods of Cachoeirinha, Cidade Tiradentes, Grajaú, Perus, São Rafael and Sete Campos, in addition to the completion of works in the units of Ermelino Matarazzo, Cidade Líder and Emperor.

Twelve new school units are also scheduled to be delivered in the first months of management.

In the area of ​​Environment, the management plans to begin works in nine municipal parks: CEU Três Lagos, Linear Itapaiuna, Morro Grande, Vila Guilherme-Trote, Sítio Morrinhos, Raposo Tavares, Fazenda da Juta/Núcleo Agave Dragão, Chácara do Jockey and Borda from Cantareira.

As part of the expansion and implementation of services, Nunes foresees a group of small surgeries, with 3,564 procedures carried out, reducing the waiting list by 50%; modernization of ticketing in public transport; reaching 30,000 cameras on the Smart Sampa Platform, beginning of the Mamãe Tarifa Zero public policy – free transport for women who need to pick up and drop off their children who attend municipal daycare centers -, among other initiatives.

Infrastructure and Urban Mobility

The mayor intends to complete, in these first months, the Imirim Avenue bus corridor; the João Beiçola and Dante Delmanto viaducts; in addition to the structural restoration of another 11 viaducts and walkways in the city.

Work is also expected to begin on the bus corridors and BRTs (Bus Rapid Transit) Aricanduva and Radial Leste sections 2 and 3; in the structural recovery of 15 viaducts; in drainage in risk areas such as Córrego Rodeio, Avenida do Estado and Jardim Pantanal; among other reforms.

In relation to bidding, the agenda includes the resumption of bidding for the Miguel Yunes Corridor, which was suspended in October last year by the Municipal Audit Court (TCM); and the publication of tenders for the Itaquera and Celso Garcia bus corridors, and the São Mateus Terminal.

Culture and Sports

The 100 Days Agenda has as priority actions, in the areas of culture and sport, the completion of works on the Casa de Cultura Cidade Ademar and the Centro Esportivo José Bonifácio – Rede Olímpica.

Furthermore, the document foresees the beginning of the requalification works of the Grande Otelo Cultural and Sports Center – Sambódromo.

Housing

In housing, among the priority actions are the delivery of 981 housing units and the positive impact for 3,508 families with interventions in the Jardim do Éden, Jardim Gaivotas 2 neighborhoods and the first stage of urbanization works in Vargem Grande.

According to the city hall’s plan, more than 100 thousand families should benefit from containment in risk areas and road duplication, according to the city hall, on Estrada do Alvarenga, Morro dos Macacos, Jardim Recreio and Jardim Santa Terezinha. The agenda also provides for land regularization in 58 areas, totaling 6,608 titles.
