South Korea to play warm-up friendlies in June to the Qatar 2022 World Cup against Brazil, Chile and Paraguay, the Asian country’s soccer federation announced on Wednesday
The South Korean team, captained by Tottenham player Son Heung Min, will face Brazil on June 2 in Seoul, before facing Chile and Paraguay on June 6 and 10.
This series of friendlies with South American teams will give South Korea a “good opportunity to assess your strengths and weaknesses”, the federation explained in a statement.
