A 54-year-old madman became a hero after alerting the Police to the discovery of a baby inside a bag under a pedestrian bridge in La Morelos near the premises of the Tocumen International Airport.
It all happened this Monday, January 9, around 10:00 in the morning when Mr. Miguel Moreno, 54, who lives on the streets, was looking for a piece of polyphony and observed that something was moving inside. of a red bag, realizing that it was a baby.
The man immediately alerted Second Lieutenant Angi Romero, who was near the area and upon confirming the existence of the little girl, immediately transferred her to the Irma Lourdes de Tzanetatos hospital.
Deputy Commissioner Matías Batista, head of the police zone, indicated that the little girl continues to receive medical attention and is in good health. He also said that the case was placed under the orders of the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office to initiate investigations to find the whereabouts of those responsible for this abandonment.
